Essential Pie Crust

Makes Two Pie Crusts.

INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Flour (1-1 whole wheat to white AP flour works well)
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
4oz Pure Mangalitsa Lard, cold from the fridge or freezer
4oz Butter, cold form the fridge or freezer
1/2 cup of water, set aside with ice cubes. Drain before adding. 
 

INSTRUCTIONS
Whisk dry ingredients and cut in the fats. 
Stir in water and knead until combined. 
Split in half, and form into two discs. 
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for a few hours or overnight, pull out of fridge before using.

*Water may very slightly, we recommend adding a little a time.
